"This has been the most exciting and rewarding project of my career. All the support from friends, family, and the biking community has been amazing; without it, this would not have been possible."

Mary is an independent video and multimedia producer, as well as instructional designer, who loves mountain biking.

Being from the flat lands of Maryland's Eastern Shore, there wasn't much opportunity for Mary to discover mountain biking early in life. While always being involved in team sports, including mainly softball and basketball (she played Division I softball at George Mason University), the transition to endurance sports has been a recent one.

Mary's first mountain biking adventure was a beautiful 20-mile trek on the Tahoe Rim Trail and Flume Trail of Lake Tahoe. This trip, and several others that followed, provided the inspiration for the video. Since that trip, Mary has found local groups to ride with. She enjoys the camaradarie the sport provides, as well as the physical and mental challenges. Mary also enjoys road biking and occasionally participates in triathlons. The new-found interests are a great way to stay in shape and meet fun people.

Different day, same faces and same Harrisonburg trip. Less fog this time.
